Who  We  Are

We are a Christ-centred, Spirit filled, vision and mission focussed church. We have a heart for Barrow and the Furness area and believe Jesus Christ is the hope for all people whatever their circumstances, age or ethnicity.

We are delighted to be associated and in fellowship with the Assemblies of God churches that are growing throughout Great Britain and the world.  We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified and rose again the third day. We also believe in the power, gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Our service is based on Inspiring Praise and Worship, along with Encouraging and Challenging Preaching, and a great feeling of Togetherness – Life is Better in Community. There is fellowship and tea/coffee afterwards.

 

If you are new to Faith or have questions we are here to help. We run a Discipleship short course and “Four Coffees” where biblical truths can be explained, and questions answered – and the coffees are our treat!
