Safeguarding POLICY

Safeguarding Policy Overview:

Emmanuel Community Church is committed to work to maintain a safe environment for all. It is our responsibility as a church to safeguard children and vulnerable adults in our care. This applies whether they are visitors in the congregation or users of our Community Services. Church leaders and all who volunteer within the church are required to work within the guidelines recommended in the Safeguarding Policy. Each leader must read, know about, and undertake to observe them. A full copy of our safeguarding policy is available here.

Disclosure & barring service (DBS)

All volunteers and leaders are checked with the organisation Thirtyone:Eight in conjunction with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
